Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer to facilitate technical discussions and solution designs with customers in the semiconductor equipment manufacturing sector across the USA, in collaboration with our international teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct technical assistance to diagnose and resolve issues related to Delta products in customer applications.
  • Gather precise information regarding product usage and failure modes, collaborating with Delta teams to ensure effective resolution.
  • Offer guidance on system architecture, conduct schematic evaluations, and support qualification and troubleshooting efforts at customer sites.
  • Provide comprehensive technical information and commercial insights to address customer inquiries about existing and new Delta products.
  • Lead technical discussions and present product roadmaps to assess customer requirements and advocate for Delta technologies.
  • Work closely with account managers and regional sales teams to cultivate and enhance relationships with new clients.
  • Collaborate with Delta's design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless communication and drive customer deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a minimum of 7 years of experience in design or application engineering, specifically in RF generators, high voltage power supplies, and pulsing power supplies for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of switching power supply technology, production processes, quality control, and communication protocols utilized in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in customer applications, effectively managing the problem-solving process between clients and Delta teams.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the capability to present Delta products and technologies effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and advocate for solutions.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
