About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide age-specific patient care based on assessment data, current knowledge/skills, department policies/procedures, and physician orders.
  • Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available.
  • Appropriately document findings relevant to the imaging procedures in Technologist Notes.
  • Operate imaging equipment and associated accessories to successfully perform procedures.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded.
  • Implement appropriate infection control and standard precautions.
  • Provide practical instruction and supervision for students and/or other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in the department and Hospital's quality control, quality assessment, and improvement plans.
  • Maintain supplies for the assigned area(s), ensuring proper use, inventory levels are appropriate, and supplies are current.
  • Knowledgeable of computer hardware/software programs used to perform job duties.
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain and enhance competency and performance.
