About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier - Holiday Seasonal. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a positive and engaging store environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, ensuring a positive and lasting impression
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling sales, returns, and exchanges
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and care instructions
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point of sale system
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 75 pounds, as needed
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
