Responsibilities
  • Maintain a lively and upbeat store environment for customers and teammates.
  • Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service.
  • Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, and other tasks.
  • Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, using appropriate price overrides when necessary.
  • Manage customer expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery.
  • Affirm the client's purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections.
  • Ensure clients are aware of all promotions that may impact sales.
  • Share information and testimonials about products, in-store events, and workshops that enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area.
  • Maximize resources to get customers what they want and resolve any issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, complying with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with our People-First Philosophy.

  • Love to close sales and can articulate a proven ability to exceed goals.
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are constantly looking for ways to think outside the box.
  • Passionate about creating lasting relationships with customers by capturing contacts, reconnecting, and promoting all of the inspiration, events, and services Williams-Sonoma has to offer.
  • Know what questions to ask customers to understand their personal style and needs.
  • Succeed in a team environment while able to work independently and manage your own.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate the POS system.
  • Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
  • Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend and two during the week.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate the POS system.
  • Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.

This role offers a competitive compensation package, including pay and benefits. Pay is based on several factors, including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The anticipated pay range for this role will be $17.35-$18.35 per hour.
