The Senior Project Architect will oversee and coordinate the comprehensive preparation of schematic designs, design development, and construction documentation for various projects, adhering to established design policies and standards. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, this role will define design parameters and ensure quality control throughout the design process. The individual will supervise the preparation of calculations, equipment selections, drawings, and coordination with other disciplines, with a strong focus on Senior Living Facilities, Healthcare, Multi-Family, Retail, and Community projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design development and construction drawings for new or modified structures, ensuring compliance with quality and building codes.
  • Manage technical drafters, coordinating their work, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD software for creating layout diagrams, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Oversee contract management terms and conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that project milestones and deliverables are met within the established timelines.
  • Provide construction administration services in accordance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect with a minimum of 5 years of architectural experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience at the Project Architect level.
  • Proficient in Revit (5 – 8 years of experience required).
  • Experience in coordinating with engineering disciplines.
  • Familiarity with building systems and construction methods.
  • Knowledge of Building Envelope.

Experience in Leading Teams:

  • Producing Revit and AutoCAD drawings for:
    • Schematic Design Drawings
    • Design Development Drawings
    • Construction Documents
    • Coordination with various disciplines, including engineering and interior design.

Software Proficiency:

  • Autodesk Revit 2019 required.
  • Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and Bluebeam.

Work Ethic:

  • Exhibit high moral and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate focus, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate effectively within a team.

Educational Background:

  • Degree in Architecture.
