Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Project Leader to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping an influential work environment and will primarily focus on engineering and technical disciplines, including site design, utilities, stormwater management, permitting, and construction oversight.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing all technical activities, ensuring project accuracy and quality from inception to completion. You will be expected to lead technical teams and personally deliver final construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop plans, specifications, and necessary deliverables for assigned projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Lead technical teams, providing quality assurance reviews for deliverables. Mentor project team members on procedures, calculations, regulatory standards, and engineering practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, QA/QC policies, performance benchmarks, and specifications.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the project team.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and clearly articulate project results and conditions.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities for the department and the company.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 6-10 years of progressive engineering experience. Specific qualifications include:
- A valid Florida Professional Engineer License.
- Experience in land development engineering projects, including urban redevelopment, commercial, mixed-use, institutional, industrial, municipal, and educational site development.
- Proficiency in designing utility project components, including conveyance systems, stormwater management, and small pump facilities for water and wastewater projects.
- Experience collaborating with architects, planners, landscape architects, MEP, and structural engineers as a design team partner.
- Professional demeanor and executive presence for client interactions.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles, including grading, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway design, along with familiarity with relevant software.
- Established relationships and understanding of local regulatory agency requirements and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
