About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman A Mechanic to join our team at Huhtamaki. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or a related field
  • Completion of a two-year mechanical course of study at an acceptable vocational or post-secondary educational facility
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work all shifts, including evenings and weekends
