We are seeking an Associate Actuarial Consultant with a focus on Pensions to enhance our Retirement Practice team. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities including the production and evaluation of actuarial work, project management, mentoring team members, and providing technical assistance on intricate client projects, along with other actuarial functions.
The Associate Actuarial Consultant will deliver actuarial services and consulting knowledge to pension clients, particularly those involved with multiemployer and public sector pension plans.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Guaranteeing the excellence of client deliverables through the assessment of valuation reports and actuarial projects.
- Guiding junior staff and offering technical support.
- Engaging in client discussions and special initiatives to tackle specific retirement challenges.
This role provides a hybrid working arrangement.
- Profound understanding of actuarial principles and their practical applications.
- Minimum of four years of experience in pension actuarial services within an employee benefits consulting context.
- Active pursuit of professional qualification with at least four actuarial examinations completed (ASA preferred).
- Exceptional client service capabilities and a keen ability to comprehend and address client requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with diverse groups.
