Job Summary

Stillwater Medical Center is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team on a part-time, as-needed basis. As a key member of our inpatient Rehab Unit, you will work closely with our patients and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various therapy treatments and clerical procedures under the direction of a Registered Therapist.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Conduct therapy sessions, including exercises and activities designed to improve patient mobility and function.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Oklahoma or eligibility for licensure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy materials, supplies, or patients (up to or >100 lbs.) for most of the shift.
  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping.
