Are you ready to tackle complex projects that can make a real impact? Leidos is seeking a skilled Signal Processing Engineer to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area.

About the Role

As a Signal Processing Engineer, you will design and implement DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). You will work on high-throughput signal exploitation, focusing on low signal-to-noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations. Your expertise will be essential in adapting COTS and GOTS products to meet special Government needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software models in MATLAB or other similar design suites to process signals of interest.
  • Analyze module/model output from signals of interest to create follow-on processes.
  • Develop novel approaches for utilizing COTS and GOTS systems for creating processing solutions outside their intended use.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced DSP Algorithm developer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Ten years of experience in DSP development is required, and five years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is also necessary.
