At ManTech International Corporation, we're seeking a highly skilled Navigation Systems Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical part in supporting the design and development of cutting-edge navigation systems for our aircraft carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to our design managers and system engineering teams.
  • Assess and mitigate technical risks associated with navigation system design and development.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve navigation system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of navigation systems with other shipboard systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in navigation system design and development.
  • Experience working with navigation systems on U.S. Navy or Coast Guard vessels.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with program managers in an engineering role.
  • Experience with nuclear-powered vessels.
  • Knowledge of shipbuilding and repair processes.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current or active U.S. Government Secret Security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information with colleagues and management.

Compensation and Benefits:

ManTech offers a competitive salary range of $93,300-$155,200, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
