Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Burn Table Operator to join our team at Abundant Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating CNC plasma tables to cut and process metal materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • CNC Plasma Table Operation: Load equipment with plate using overhead crane, measure material before and after cutting to ensure compliance with job specifications, and select and install Plasma nozzles and databases according to type and thickness of metal.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including wiping down torches and equipment, and replacing consumables as needed.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload materials using overhead crane, label each part with the correct job and part number, and remove materials from the burn table after cutting.
  • Quality Control: Complete data sheets on material cut, and ensure that all drops are marked with plate numbers, heat numbers, and returned to stock.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of previous burn table work experience, with Messer experience a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to read and understand measuring tools and equipment, operate overhead cranes and forklifts, and perform math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move up to 75lbs, and lift and move heavier objects with assistance of cranes, forklifts, or another employee.
