Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support and assistance with daily living activities. You will also help participants develop real-life skills, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Responsibilities
  • Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities
  • Support participants with developmental goals and objectives
  • Develop meaningful relationships with participants and their families
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide individualized support
  • Document participant progress and provide regular updates to supervisors
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
