Overview:
At Tartan Springs Dental Care, we're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our dental practice.

Responsibilities:
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
• Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
• Conducting thorough reviews of patient health histories to deliver quality care
• Taking and processing x-rays and diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology
• Providing superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures
• Utilizing Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping
• Maintaining treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines
• Managing supply and inventory levels, including ordering and expediting as needed
• Partnering with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
• A working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• If required by the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. You'll need to be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times and be available to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
