Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations
  • Deliver care aligned with physician directives and established care plans
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans to meet rehabilitation goals
  • Coordinate patient discharge planning and communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
  • Engage in performance enhancement and program development initiatives
  • Contribute to budget planning, ensuring cost-effectiveness of departmental services
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Possession or eligibility for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
