Aircraft Powerplant Specialist

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Adhere to Bombardier's General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop, and/or Hangar positions)
- Comply with Environmental/Health/Safety policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on engines and related aircraft problems
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
- Remove/install/replace aircraft engines and accessories
- Assist with performing complete engine runs
- Operate ground support equipment
- Assist with off-aircraft component repair
- Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- An Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
- At least 5 years of experience on heavy aircraft maintenance
- Previous experience in A/C turbine engine maintenance
- The ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
- Effective communication skills in both written and verbal form on aircraft status
- Previous experience on either corporate or commercial jet aircraft (preferred)
- Tug qualified (preferred)
- Forklift qualified (preferred)
- Ground Support Equipment qualified (preferred)
- Basic PC skills
