Job Title: Recreation Supervisor

About the Role:

The Recreation Supervisor will play a key role in assisting the Recreation Manager and/or Recreation Assistant Manager with all aspects of running the Recreation Department. This includes administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, training and mentoring team members, monitoring hours worked, invoicing, and keeping the department up to date with staff requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of recreation activities and events
  • Supervise and train recreation staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of staff hours worked and departmental expenses
  • Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records
  • Collaborate with the Recreation Manager to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in a recreation or related field
  • Able to work in outdoor temperatures and environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field
  • CPR certification and First Aid certification
  • Experience as a Recreation Coordinator, Cruise Ship Supervisor, or Summer Camp Director
