Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary:

TalentBridge is seeking an experienced and skilled Production Manager to lead our client's manufacturing team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving production processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the production team to meet or exceed production goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure the production schedule is met while maintaining product quality standards.
  • Develop and implement long-term production strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and address operational bottlenecks, and recommend and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall production performance.
  • Design, develop, and implement new production processes and procedures that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements and implement best practices in workplace safety.
  • Manage production budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to meet production targets within budget.
  • Lead employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance within the production team.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive working environment that encourages employee engagement and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field (preferred); equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing production strategies and improving operational performance.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
