Patient Care Associate

**Job Summary**

As a Patient Care Associate at Yale New Haven Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with basic patient care, monitoring and recording vital signs, administering medications as prescribed, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop care plans. You will also provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and compassionate experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist with basic patient care, including AM and PM care, toileting, peri care, emptying and rinsing of drainage devices, and feeding under the supervision of the licensed nurse
* Monitor and record vital signs
* Administer medications as prescribed
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans
* Provide emotional support to patients and their families
