About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Sprocket Security. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of our software products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manual Testing: Develop and implement a comprehensive manual testing program for our software products, ensuring that they meet the required standards of quality and security.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Design, create, and execute detailed test plans and test cases to identify and document software defects.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools, collaborating with development teams to resolve defects and ensure the stability of our software.
  • Automated Testing: Build and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks, integrating automated testing into our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of our software after changes, analyzing test results and providing actionable insights to the development team.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies, mentoring and guiding junior QA team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a QA Engineer with both manual and automation testing, strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Skills: Proficiency in writing and executing manual test cases, experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress), familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby) for test automation, knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Performance and Load Testing: Experience with performance and load testing tools.
  • Security Testing: Knowledge of security testing practices.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Cloud-Based Testing: Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
