Job Overview:

Ajax Tocco is seeking a committed Quality Assurance Engineer to perform evaluations and troubleshoot solid-state power supplies and control systems utilizing PLC & HMIs, as well as heat treatment processes. Key responsibilities include conducting high-power assessments, resolving control system challenges, debugging PLC ladder logic, and working closely with metallurgists to develop recipes that fulfill client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in PLC & HMI programming, exceptional analytical abilities, and a background in robotics and automation. Additional duties encompass basic field commissioning and initiation of ATM machines. Become part of a team that provides extensive services to clients both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient understanding of electrical testing protocols and apparatus
  • Familiarity with 3-phase wiring, high-voltage safety regulations, electronic troubleshooting, and more
  • Experience with induction heating and melting apparatus is a plus
  • Engagement in training initiatives to enhance testing capabilities and qualifications
  • Effective communication with supervisors and team members
  • Adherence to safety standards and operational procedures
  • Monitoring and evaluation of performance reporting systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred
  • A minimum of five years of experience in electronics/electrical testing or repair
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in PLC & HMI programming software
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional demeanor and integrity
