Additional Shift Differentials:

Weekday Nights +$2.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

In collaboration with our Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our patients while ensuring a safe and secure environment.

  • Assist in developing nursing care plans under the guidance of the RN.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and gather medical histories.
  • Provide nursing care within your scope and refer complex medical issues to the appropriate physician.
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and securely.
  • Monitor patients' symptoms, reactions, and progress, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and company accreditation standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of medical records and document all patient interactions.

Qualifications:

Essential Competencies:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and possession of a current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
  • Preferred: Two (2) years of direct experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Competence in crisis intervention, medical emergencies, physical assessments, and psychiatric nursing care.
  • Ability to work independently and provide appropriate follow-up treatment.
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
  • Valid state driver's license (as required by state regulations).

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently: Lift or carry and push/pull up to 40 lbs.; walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder level.
  • Occasionally: Lift or carry and push/pull up to 60 lbs.; operate machinery and climb.
