Position: Auto Body Shop Porter

Classic Collision is seeking a dedicated Auto Body Shop Porter to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office, including regular garbage disposal, floor cleaning, and dusting.
  • Assist the detailing department as required.
  • Ensure the production area is tidy by managing waste disposal, sweeping, and cleaning spray booths.
  • Drive company vehicles for errands and to pick up or deliver parts and customer vehicles.
  • Keep parking lots and outdoor areas well-maintained.
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities as needed.
  • Protect vehicles from adverse weather conditions.
  • Secure all vehicles and ensure that keys are stored safely.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

This role requires regular use of hands, effective communication, and the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds may be necessary. Vision requirements include close and peripheral vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
