POSITION OVERVIEW
Oversee the inspection of guest accommodations, communal spaces, and recreational areas following the cleaning process conducted by Housekeepers to guarantee adherence to quality benchmarks. Generate reports on occupied rooms, confirm room statuses, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning tasks, and update the status of vacated guest rooms. Support Housekeeping leadership in managing daily operations. Serve as a point of contact to synchronize the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments. Record and address issues related to room discrepancies in collaboration with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate modifications in assignment sheets/workboards. Relay concerns to the subsequent shift. Complete necessary documentation.
Assist management in the recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, and motivation of team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to all organizational and safety protocols; report maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets.
- Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely.
- Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees.
- Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service with a professional and pleasant demeanor.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
