We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, be a fast typist, and have a keen eye for accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for transferring information into our digital database, ensuring that data is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Enter data from reports into our database
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without errors
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of corporate working experience preferred but not required
- Proven experience in data entry
- Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with a strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities with a strong aptitude in problem-solving
