Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Licensed Health Care Instructor to conduct classroom instruction and clinical training of health care students leading up to national and state certification. This role will involve supervising students in a classroom and lab clinical setting, as well as coordinating class scheduling, clinical site assignments, and inventory for labs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom and clinical training to health care students at Del Mar College campuses and centers
  • Supervise students in a classroom and lab clinical setting
  • Coordinate class scheduling, clinical site assignments, and inventory for labs
  • Maintain required student records including attendance, grading, student progress, and skills training completion
  • Assist with registration and the collection of all documentation for high school and adult students

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year long-term care facility experience
  • Licensed in the State of Texas as LVN or RN

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Experience supervising staff in a clinical or healthcare setting
