Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a Pharmacist. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for maintaining strong knowledge of hospital policies and government regulations, ensuring the appropriate dispensing of medications.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate medication orders and accurately compound medications in acceptable dosage forms.
- Review medication therapy and ensure it is suitable for patient diagnosis.
- Provide education or in-services on rational medication therapy and medication procedures to healthcare professionals, students, patients, or the public as needed.
- Assist in the supervision and training of pharmacy technician personnel.
- A Registered Pharmacist Certificate issued by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Texas IV certification is required.
- BLS certification is also required.
