Position Overview:

As a Counter-Proliferation Specialist focusing on missile systems, you will act as a key subject-matter expert and technical authority. Your primary responsibilities will involve monitoring and analyzing current and emerging trends related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and nuclear/radiological events. You will address issues affecting nuclear security, force protection, and the operability and survivability of forces against a variety of WMD threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct applied research on intelligence issues concerning WMD threats to the United States and allied nations.
  • Provide written contributions to reports and briefings.
  • Assist in responding to requests for information (RFI) and contribute to analytical data entries related to WMD.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate operations and intelligence information, enhancing government efforts against missile threats and counter-proliferation initiatives.
  • Support the preparation and execution of engagements with leadership to improve understanding of missile systems and improvised threats.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a missile-related field (science, technical, engineering, or mathematics).
  • Over three years of experience in intelligence analysis for the Department of Defense (DoD) or an intelligence agency.
  • Experience with all-source analysis tools and the ability to collect and analyze information relevant to WMD and counter-proliferation.
  • Familiarity with network analysis tools and geospatial intelligence applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • A graduate degree in a missile-related field.
  • Experience with CBRN/WMD-related intelligence.
  • Knowledge of advanced research techniques and internet-based resources.
