We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Systems Specialist to join our team at Brickred Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting data center power systems through hands-on lab work and technical collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, assemble, and optimize data center compute and power hardware to meet project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate hardware-software interfaces and system performance requirements.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure compliance with system specifications.
- Provide training and support to system designers and users.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Data Center Systems Specialist, with a focus on hardware and data center systems.
- Proficiency in using lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, DC loads, AC sources, logic probes, power analyzers, and serial analyzers.
- Experience debugging power systems, embedded systems, hardware, and firmware.
- Familiarity with serial communication protocols such as I2C, UART, and SPI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with attention to detail.
- Basic mentoring skills to support peers and offer constructive feedback.
