We are seeking a reliable and professional Parts Counterperson to join our team at Gerald Auto Group in Naperville. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for purchasing, selling, storing, and issuing parts to our customers and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine customer needs and accurately specify parts accordingly
  • Create and modify purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of parts
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors and track special ordered parts
  • Record warranty parts returned and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Process and close open invoices, comparing them against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
  • Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Attend weekly department meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of dealership warehouse experience. Candidates with equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
