Join Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC as a Principal Quality Engineer and contribute to the development of safe, clean, and efficient energy solutions. As a key member of our innovative team, you will support I&C projects by ensuring contractual and Westinghouse quality program requirements are incorporated into project planning documents. Your responsibilities will include performing in-process software audits, coordinating preparation for and support conduct of customer audits, and providing certification that products shipping from GICP were produced in conformance with contract and Westinghouse quality program requirements based on records review. You will also review and comment on project documents, coordinate Level 3 procedure maintenance activities, confirm that CAP issues are closed in accordance with corrective action program requirements, and provide consultation to GIC managers and personnel on quality program questions. In addition, you will participate on internal audit teams, lead internal audits, and comment on proposed Level 2 procedure revisions. To be successful in this role, you will need a 5-year college degree (Technical degree is desired), at least 6 years of Quality Assurance experience in the nuclear industry, and knowledge of various ISO standards, ASME NQA-1, 10CFR50 App.B, 10CFR21, and other nuclear industry quality standards. You will also need strong interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communications, ability to lead team members, and ability to develop relationships with internal stakeholders.
