Quality Assurance Specialist in Connecticut

A leading U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Windsor Locks, Connecticut area seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to provide technical guidance to foster relationships with operations teams and suppliers, manage compliance and quality issues, and drive timely resolutions through effective root cause analysis and collaboration on investigations.



Responsibilities include ensuring the effectiveness of root cause analysis and corrective action, driving timely resolution and closure of issues, reviewing and interpreting procedures and policies, analyzing hardware and assembly concerns causing quality and delivery issues, and determining proper disposition of nonconforming material while participating in Material Review Board activities.



Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical concentration or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
