Lead Custodian

Thomas College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Custodian to join our facilities team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our campus buildings and facilities.

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Supervise and train custodial staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving strategies
• Monitor and manage expenditures to ensure they are within budget
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and diligence to the job
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule
