Lead Custodian

Thomas College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Custodian to join our facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all campus buildings and facilities.

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
• Supervise and train custodial staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and cleaning standards
• Monitor expenditures and recommend cost-saving strategies to ensure budget efficiency
• Provide guidance and direction to staff as needed to ensure smooth operations

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a supervisory role preferred
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
