Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodial Supervisor to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Central Texas. As a Custodial Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our custodial team, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the custodial team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the custodial team.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Provide training and coaching to custodial team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Manage and maintain all custodial equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working order and that inventory levels are adequate.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our facilities meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a custodial or facilities management role.
  • 2 years of experience in commercial custodial services.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or American Sign Language preferred.
  • Experience working with disabled or disadvantaged populations.
  • Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in custodial work, including safety practices.
  • Valid driver's license with approved driving record, liability insurance, vehicle in good working condition to travel for work-related business.
  • Approved background check per site requirements.
