We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Scientific Applications & Research Associates (SARA), Inc. in Cypress, CA. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining backend software applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud native architectures in AWS and/or Azure
- Develop and maintain backend software applications using C/C++, Python, and GIT
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software applications
- Ensure high-quality software development and testing practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years' experience creating distributed software applications
- Ability to use C/C++, Python, and GIT
- Ability to create software designs, test software, and document results
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Master's degree
- 10+ years' experience creating distributed software applications
- Experience with IoT development and ISO 30141
- Experience creating applications certified to RTCA DO-178C and RTCA DO-254
- Ability to program in Matlab, LabVIEW, Julia, and VHDL
- Active DoD security clearance
