Overview: At Marriott International, we pride ourselves on being a leader in the hospitality industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Part-Time Kitchen Steward at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines and hand wash stations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas, including tables, tools, and equipment.
  • Receive and properly store deliveries, ensuring that perishables are handled appropriately.
  • Maintain clean wares in designated storage areas.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents in the dishwashing process.
  • Inspect, sort, and stack cleaned items while managing soiled items for re-washing.
  • Handle waste management, including emptying trashcans and maintaining the dumpster area.
  • Follow safety and security protocols, reporting any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Engage positively with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as bending and twisting as necessary.
