Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and providing direct and indirect therapy services to support students' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify students' strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and implement individualized education plans tailored to students' needs, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide Direct and Indirect Therapy Services: Offer direct and indirect therapy services to support students' communication skills, including speech and language therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student success and provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid California SLP License: Hold a valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Possess an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be willing to obtain one.
  • Experience in a School Setting: Have experience working in a school setting, preferably with students with diverse communication needs.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
