Role Summary:
As a Shuttle Driver at Christian Brothers Automotive, your primary responsibility will be to ensure safe and dependable transportation for our clients to and from our service center. You will operate our branded shuttle vehicle, adhering strictly to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Your role will also involve delivering exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests, assisting them with boarding and disembarking, and maintaining a clean and comfortable shuttle environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about automotive repair services and terminology.
  • Provide a secure and reliable shuttle service for our esteemed guests.
  • Exhibit respect and courtesy towards guests at all times, reflecting the values of Christian Brothers.
  • Maintain a timely shuttle schedule.
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting the shuttle vehicle.
  • Support the shop with various tasks, including receiving and processing parts.
  • Inform the service manager of any maintenance needs for the shuttle vehicle.
  • Keep the shuttle vehicle clean and organized.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff and guests.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to meet required insurance driving record standards.
  • Enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing.
  • Occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Dependability for a Monday through Friday schedule.
