Job Summary

The University of South Carolina seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct research in polymer chemistry under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI). The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing experiments to synthesize novel polymers
  • Conducting measurements and analyzing data to understand polymer properties
  • Collaborating with the research team to achieve project goals
  • Presenting research findings in a clear and concise manner

Responsibilities

The Postdoctoral Fellow will work closely with the PI and research team to:

  • Develop and implement research plans to achieve project objectives
  • Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in polymer chemistry
  • Prepare and submit research papers for publication
  • Participate in research meetings and contribute to team discussions

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and a strong background in polymer chemistry. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
