Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant to join our team at Marlborough Public Schools. The successful candidate will provide support to students with special needs, assisting with instruction, supervision, and daily living tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students with special needs in academic, social, and behavioral development
- Support students with test taking and administering standardized and non-standardized tests
- Provide physical management and crisis intervention as needed
- Collect data and report progress on students
- Escort and supervise students to and from various school facilities
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Associate's Degree or completion of 48 undergraduate credits preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in both indoor and outdoor settings
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced school environment, interacting with students, teachers, and other staff members. The ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality is essential.
