Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Health Principal to join our growing practice and lead our health sector in the local region. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and winning new business relationships, overseeing large health projects, and participating in sector management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Health Sector Goals: Work closely with local office Managing Principal and leadership to ensure the health sector meets business objectives.

  • Business Development and Marketing: Coordinate BD, marketing and practice growth efforts and identify, qualify and develop business leads.
  • Proposal Writing: Lead and oversee the analysis of RFQs and RFP's and the development of written proposal responses.
  • Interviews and Presentations: Lead the development of interview presentation strategies and messaging.
  • Regional Teamwork: Work and collaborate with other health leaders, marketing staff and design professionals.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor marketing progress, performance indicators and manage progress within assigned marketing resource allocations.
Project Delivery Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Responsible for any project assignment regardless of size, visibility, number of disciplines, technical complexity or number of staff.
  • Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
  • Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures.
  • Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers.
Qualifications

We're looking for a highly experienced and skilled professional with a strong background in healthcare architecture and project management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • 15 years related experience.
  • A minimum 7 years project management experience.
  • Registered Architect.
  • Experience on large-scale health projects.
  • Ability to lead a team on projects and make client presentations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience within the local and regional health market.
  • Strong team leadership, mentoring, motivational/organizational and people skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel.
