Job Title: Electrical Engineer IV

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex RF systems and digital signal processing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RF distribution components, antennas, and feedlines in accordance with specifications and engineering standards.
  • Develop and test digital signal processing and RF applications, including antenna design, RF path analysis, and Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications.
  • Support firmware and hardware development for embedded system design, including microcontrollers, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), and System on a Chip (SoC).
  • Design and document cable assemblies, including cable lists, fabrication details, and material specifications.
  • Develop and deliver complex technical presentations related to RF systems to high-level program management and customers.
  • Perform extensive research and analysis on RF systems to enhance technical and economic development of products and services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Ten years' of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, testing, and supporting digital signal processing and RF applications.
  • Experience programming and configuring microcontrollers, FPGAs, SoC, and single board computers.
  • Experience designing and developing RF cable assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
  • Possess a current Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Desired Skills:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience developing RF components in lab and shipboard environments.
  • Proficiency in modeling software, such as MATLAB, SimuLink, and MathCAD.
  • Experience in threat system analysis, model development, and RF signal processing.
  • Knowledge of power systems, including fuse panels, disconnect switches, and ground fault indicators.
