Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order. This position is located in Hurlburt Field, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services.
  • Interfacing with O&M personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects as directed.
  • Comprehensively reviewing existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required.
  • Establishing systems engineering with a focus on the end-to-end functionality of complex systems of systems.
  • Establishing service integration, database structure management, active directory services/DNS, Thin/zero client and data storage with expertise in SANs technologies, NAS technologies, iSCSI, and DAS.
  • Establishing portal/web services with expertise in the design of medium to large enterprise farms, geographical replication, interfacing with external data sources and integration of third-party add-ons.
  • Monitoring PKI/certificate authority, providing CRM, performing disaster recovery and backup/restore.
  • Supporting efforts for cybersecurity technology, risks identification and risk mitigation strategies related to cybersecurity, and A&A support documentation in accordance with applicable DoD and IC directives.
  • Maintaining LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures, voice and data network systems, advanced engineering, and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
  • Establishing SATCOM with an emphasis on IP satellite, providing support with Wireless networking, Application delivery networking, Cloud computing, Mobile computing, End Point management, and desktop computing.
  • Providing Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) or other NSA Capabilities Package, engineering enterprise data, voice, and video networks, establishing and operating network test facilities, maintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks.
  • Working with vendors, the Government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management.
  • Providing high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology, including LAN/WAN hardware, switches, bridges, and routers.
Qualifications
  • HS 9 years; 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD.
  • A DoD security clearance at the TS or above level is required.
  • DoDD 01-M IAT II.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
