We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Telecommunications Specialist to support our team at Cardiology Associates of Greater Waterbury. The ideal candidate will provide essential switchboard duties, connecting callers with the appropriate extensions, relaying messages, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Job Description:The Telecommunications Specialist role is a vital part of our operations, ensuring seamless communication between patients, doctors, and staff members. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
- Connecting callers to the correct extension or department
- Relaying messages to relevant parties
- Assisting with clerical tasks, such as data entry and document preparation
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they should have basic computer skills and be proficient in using various software applications.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., customer service, telecommunications)
