Job Title: Regional Clinical Nurse

Guardian Angels Senior Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Clinical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and oversight across our facilities, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to designated facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and ensure facilities meet regulatory requirements, providing education and support as needed.
  • Ensure all policies are up-to-date and reflect current industry standards and quality patient care standards.
  • Assist with the survey process, offering support and guidance to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
  • Provide feedback at leadership meetings and create best practices throughout the system, promoting continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Use discretion and independent judgment to compare and evaluate possible courses of action, making informed decisions that drive positive outcomes.
  • Provide clinical revenue management and assessment as needed, ensuring the financial stability and sustainability of our facilities.
  • Review risk management issues as needed, identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure the well-being of our residents and staff.
  • Assist with reviewing packages and a la carte services offered at assisted living facilities, including memory care, to ensure they meet the needs of our residents.
  • Assist with creating and reviewing an acuity/census staffing tool for assisted living clinical staff, ensuring accurate and efficient staffing levels.
  • Attend and participate in designated meetings, including care plan meetings, stand-up meetings, interdisciplinary team meetings, and other meetings as requested or needed for evaluation purposes, guidance, and assistance.
  • Dedicate time to visiting communities, conducting rounds, evaluating conditions, and offering guidance to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Promote continuous self-development and growth, exhibiting technical competence in the field by being familiar with and ensuring compliance with regulations and established best practices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of community resources, organization, and industry policies and practices, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and trends.
  • Update the leadership team on regulatory reviews for further action and review as needed, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Participate in NEMO meetings, collaborating with colleagues to drive positive outcomes and improve the quality of care.
  • Ability to step into a Director of Nursing (DON) role and provide coverage if needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate good stewardship of available resources, ensuring efficient use of time, talent, and technology to drive positive outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Licensed as an RN in the state of MN required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Three years of experience in a nurse leadership role is required. Five years is highly desired.
  • Five to seven years of RN clinical experience in long-term care and assisted living/memory care facilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically, problem solve, and execute for desired results.
  • Excellent verbal and written (read, write) communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, advanced user of Excel and other analytical software used to discern data and establish metrics.
  • Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
  • Maintains good attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and other hours as necessary for the position.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations in a fast-paced environment.
