Job Summary

The Plant Maintenance Technician Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, completing minor repairs, and assisting in major repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance and repairs, to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Assist technicians in the adjustments, repair, or replacement of fixed and rolling stock equipment, including balers, conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, machine shafts, rollers, and bearings.
  • Perform other maintenance and project-related work as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends to support the operating schedule and the needs of the facility.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Proficient in welding and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems, including air compressors.
Work Environment

The Plant Maintenance Technician Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends to support the operating schedule and the needs of the facility.

The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S is $___ - ____. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
