Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance ecommerce platforms using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital, marketing, and product, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ecommerce trends, technologies, and best practices to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Work closely with the Technical Architect to identify and prioritize technical requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Perform proof of concept tasks and develop prototypes to demonstrate new ideas and solutions.
  • Implement ecommerce solutions that adhere to platform best practices and perform peer code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
  • Provide development support, from design through testing and deployment, often collaborating with other members of the technical and test teams.
  • Post-delivery, work with partner teams in support of the live application and perform hand-off and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long-term success.
  • Protect the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
Special Projects
  • Analyze and improve site speed and stability to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Support the evaluation of third-party vendors for potential feature/function projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (preferably B2C).
  • Certifications in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SFCC B2C Commerce Developer is required.
  • 7+ years overall development experience.
  • Strong (Front and Back End/Full Stack) development skills including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS.
  • Strong experience using jQuery, pipelines, controllers, and cartridges.
  • OCAPI/SCAPI experience a plus.
  • Page Designer CMS experience a plus.
  • SFRA, PWA, NodeJS and/or React experience a strong plus.
  • Experience with Bot mitigation is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of the corporate retail environment a plus.
  • We strongly adhere to process and leverage Atlassian tools for ticketing and documentation. Proficiency with Atlassian tools a plus.
