Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule service appointments and gather customer and vehicle information prior to arrival.
- Welcome customers promptly and courteously.
- Provide detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts.
- Establish and communicate 'promised times' for service completion.
- Monitor repair progress throughout the day and update customers on any changes to estimates or timelines.
- Conduct test drives or coordinate with technicians as necessary.
- Maintain a Customer Satisfaction Index rating that meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Advise customers on vehicle maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Adhere to dealership standards for repair order documentation.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
- Report any accidents or safety concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a dealership environment.
- General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
- ASE certification is preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.
