Job Title: CDL A Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled CDL A truck driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a CDL A truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer, and report any safety issues or repairs required.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Load customer returns onto the trailer and secure the trailer doors.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL A license
  • 6+ months of commercial driving experience
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of foodservice distribution industry experience
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience
